Vintage Sewing Pattern 1940s Ladies Bra and Bandeau Multi-size

Description

This is a digital print-at-home sewing pattern for a 1940s bra. The bra can be made in two versions; the bandeau is a shorter bra with no waist support. The brassiere is a long line shape and adds support and smooths everything under the garments. The bra can be made with optional lace, self or purchased straps, and purchased or hook and eye closures. Rather have a printed pattern? Find that here. Fabric requirement: Please see the photos. SIZING INFO: MULTI-SIZE! Bust: 32 - 34 - 36 - 38 - 40 - 42 - 44 - 46 - 48 - 50 inches. All sizes are included. Approximate Cup size: B/C. Patterns from the 1940s didn't size by cup measurements. Instead, they used the full over-bust measurement (rather than your under-bust as in most modern bras). To enlarge or shrink the cup sizes to your preference, check out this great blog article. This pattern has been adapted from a vintage pattern that is now in the public domain. Regardless, the pattern has been changed and improved, adapted for the modern seamstress, creating a new and original work. ********************************************************* Printing a PDF is easy.
