Tartans originated in woven wool, but now they are made in many other materials. This tartan is made up of pastel, rainbow and black stripes. Polyviscose is a mixture of polyester and viscose making it a durable and versatile fabric. It has a similar feeling to wool, but can be produced for much lower costs. It is often used in country wear and kilts.
