For a guide to Bach's mouthpieces, click here to view their mouthpiece manual. The Symphonic Series uses the Classic Series cup designs and opens up the throat and backbore negating the need to have a Classic Mouthpiece reamed by hand which can create inconsistencies in playability and tone. Symphonic Series mouthpieces are completely made on CNC machines creating a precise mouthpiece every time. Three different cups are available with a 24 backbore and 4 different options for throats ranging from 22 to 26. Vincent Bach was a rare combination of artist and engineer. He was constantly changing his mouthpiece designs until the mid 1960’s when they became more standardized.
