Bromwich Hall was once the home of the Lords of the Manor of West Bromwich with the oldest parts of the building dating back to the 1270s. Over its 750 year history the building has been the home of some notable individuals including the Attorney General to Charles I and some ordinary families when the building was used as tenements in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Bromwich Hall was later a pub remembered affectionately by locals closing in 2009. The site is now a museum and heritage attraction telling its long story and hosting a wide variety of events, activities community projects, school holiday fun and more throughout the year.
