Back to that work week grind today, friends, and sharing one of my favorite working wear outfits to date. When it comes to my most worn prints and patterns, it’s no secret that I tend towards a  solid contrasting stripe or a bold polka dot. But when it comes to my favorite print, hands down it’s got to be a floral pattern. A floral print is one of those extra fun patterns that doesn’t have to feel as rigid and unchanging as the more popular stripes or polka dots. Instead it has the ability to be more free form, organic, and dynamic in its implementation. Simply put, it’s got more free spirited personality!  So when I saw these blush floral pants on sale last season, I knew they would make the perfect statement pant for work–not too flashy but with plenty of character all the same. I’ve come to love the combination of romantic blush with crisp white for work (last seen here). There’s something so delightfully feminine and sweet about the pairing, and yet with the right classically-cut pieces, still professional enough for the office. And as an added bonus, it’s one of those color combinations that transitions almost seamlessly from work to play at the end of the day. […]
