When someone hears that I am a make-up artist, one of the first things I get asked about is how to create the perfect smoky eye, Rose said. For me, there’s two components to this: practise and brushes. Even if you have a quick play for five minutes before you take your make-up off each day, you’ll build your technique bit by bit.
