Medieval 14th - 15th century historically accurate men's under armour woolen tunic or cote based on a Bocksten tunic.
Made to order.
The item features:
- T-shaped cut of a free silhouette
- The straight details of the front and back in the area of the bodice are sewn together in four parts
- Wide wedges are inserted from the waist downward: on the sides, front and back
- Voluminous sleeves are sewn into the armhole with a gusset, for comfortable movement, narrowed
to the wrist
- Sealed with several layers of burlap
Materials used:
- fabric top - 100% wool
- lining fabric - 100% linen
- seal fabric - burlap
- threads - 100% flax
We offer two types of sewing the tunic:
1. 50/50 (industrial / manual) i.e. invisible stitches are machine sewn and all visible stitches are hand-sewn.
2. Completely manual i.e. both invisible and visible stiches are hand-sewn.
Item care:
1. Do not hand wash.
2. Dry clean only.
3. A slight dirtying can be easily removed with wet washcloth or clothes brush.
4. Keep on a hanger of appropriate size to avoid deformation.
