Mold Shield has a unique, extra-dry spray package, which delivers a non-penetrating mist into ejector pin sleeves, slides, cams and other moving mold parts. This special aerosol prevents marking of plastic parts when molds are put back in service. Not only does Mold Shield displace water and condensation, it also neutralizes fingerprint or acid residues. There’s no need to remove this rust preventive from the mold prior to start-up as it flashes off during production. If you prefer to use a cleaner , we recommend considering organic or hydrocarbon solvents. Mold Shield offers up to two years of protection during normal, indoor storage.
