Vintage Burlesque Dancer Costume / Pin Up GoGo Dancer / Show Girl

- Era I would say the sequins and beads look 1960s to 70s.

- Condition is Hand Made and is a bit crude-ly done. Often hand made costumes from dancers or even theater groups are rushed to be done in a certain time frame. And also are often worn night after night (or how ever often the show was) And if something comes apart it gets fixed on the go so that is why a lot of costumes may look unprofessional even when created by the best of the best skilled seamstress.

- So this was made for either (lack of better wording here) very flat bust gal or possibly a boylesque. Either way, they could hold some weight the top alone weighs about 3 pounds and is about 2 inches of well padded bust.

Bust is approx 28 inches. waist is 33 inches. If you know a thing or two about sewing you could re-attach the hooks to fit smaller. By re-sewing them where needed. You can also purchase extender straps for bras to make them a little larger. You can purchase them at most craft, fabric shops. They are measured inside the garment.
