If a mum wants to recover well after the birth of her babies, then I advise that mums visualise the 12 months post birth as the recovery period and not just the first three months commonly known as the fourth trimester. Increasing the recovery time frame reduces the pressure new mums often place on themselves in regards to getting their pre-pregnancy body back and improving sports performance etc.
