So he gathered the most beautiful flowers from the island, and made a bouquet which remained in the same water for 3 days. Later, he noticed that the water acquired a mysterious fragrance unknown to him. And that water became the first perfume of Capri. In 1948, the Prior of the same monastery rediscovered the legendary perfume formulas.
