The 2nd Edition of the Slumber Party line of Bratz dolls was released in 2003. The first edition was released earlier the same year. The second edition of the Slumber Party line is identical to the 1st edition, save for the makeup and the holes in the bottom of the girls shoes. The packaging is also different. The boxes for the first edition have pink backboards and pink and yellow accessory blisters, whereas the boxes for the second edition have light purple backboards and light and dark purple
