<p>William “Bill” Blanton Davis, age 92 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Brookdale Senior Living Center in Tullahoma. He was born in Alabama on January 1, 1931, to the late Blanton and Katie (Hudson) Davis. Bill served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He later worked and retired from Tennessee Elk River Development Agency as a project manager. After his retirement, Bill enjoyed the time working on his farm. He was a founding member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia Hittson, Annie Northcutt, and Wilma Luttrell. Bill is survived by his loving wife of seventy-one years, Sadie Davis of Winchester; daughter, Deta M. (Bill) Green of Winchester; grandchildren, Jennifer (Colton) McClellan of Chattanooga, Billy Green (Dina Morse) of Dalton, Georgia, and Kaitlin (Joel) Champion of Greenbrier; and great-grandchildren, Aubry, Kimber, Piper, and Tinsley Champion. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Friday, May 19, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 20, 2023, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
