Do not worry, the raw edges are specially stitched and secured to stay just like this, even after you wash this piece. We use beautiful brass buttons for this shirt. The slits on the sides and front pocket are decorated with handmade primitive embroidery to create that feeling of a garment, made by loving hands specially for you. It is quite thin and airy, as natural cotton is, but meanwhile has a very graceful character, flowing around, as you move. Twill is hard to wrinkle and drape better, than other types of fabric, due to the diagonal weave.
